This is an option inside TikTok for a video that has already been posted. The checks below concern this stage.

A successful file download or a closed share menu is not proof that a post or sticker exists. Check the app before confirming either step.

Check the right video

Open your own corresponding published video in TikTok, rather than the local MP4 or another tile. Match it to the selected final position on the maker’s files page.

Photo or GIF stickers used in messages are a different flow from the video-sticker workflow described here. The maker cannot inspect your account or choose the correct post for you.

Review permissions & eligibility

The linked TikTok sticker guidance lists a minimum age of 16 for video-sticker creation and describes video permissions controlling the entry’s availability. Account and feature restrictions still need to be checked in your app.

Its content-reuse setting can also affect Duet, Stitch and Story reuse. Review those privacy effects before making a change. This guide does not ask you to make your account public or promise that one setting unlocks stickers.

Where the official guidance points

TikTok’s documentation places the video-sticker action among a posted video’s options and notes that the action row may scroll sideways. That reference is not a confirmed screen path for your phone.

If your app shows different controls, use the current official instructions. A device-tested screenshot and walkthrough have not been recorded for this tool yet.

Leave stickers for later

If the video was actually published, return to that tile and mark I posted this video. Leave I created its public sticker unchecked until you have really completed it.

Your posted and sticker confirmations are independent. You can return to the same files page later and select the relevant final position. Reading this page, leaving the app or returning from system sharing never checks a box automatically.

Do not guess the next sticker to create from the tile labels. The creation sequence is still unverified. No fixed waiting period or universal workaround is promised.

If it is still unavailable

The maker cannot enable account features, alter TikTok permissions or guarantee sticker creation. Keep the step incomplete and use the help options available in TikTok if you need account-specific guidance.
