What stays in your browser

Sticker Banner crops your photo and creates tile videos locally. The maker has no photo-upload service, account system or access to your TikTok account.

The maker does not upload your photos or generated videos. Downloading or sharing a video is a separate action you choose.

To let you return to your work, this browser can save:

Editing draft
A processed copy of your photo, its dimensions and local fingerprint, the 3/6/9-tile layout and crop settings.
Latest export
The photo and crop used for that export, generated MP4 files, their format information and version.
Your confirmations
The video-posted and public-sticker steps you mark, when you mark them, and your final banner check. These are your reports, not information read from TikTok.
Viewing preference
The last tile you viewed for that export. This preference contains no photo or video.
Temporary layout hint
This browser can remember the saved draft’s tile count and last saved time to reserve responsive space while restoring it, including in a new tab or at another screen width. The hint is kept in local and tab storage, contains no image, task identity or progress, and expires with the draft after 7 days. Merely returning or resizing does not extend that period. Local database recovery remains the source of truth.

The project is stored in this browser’s local database. It is not an online backup and does not sync to another browser or device.

How long it stays

The editing draft and latest export have separate 7-day retention periods, measured from each record’s last saved change. Editing the draft does not extend an older export’s retention. Viewing, downloading or sharing does not extend it either.

The maker checks expiry when restoring data, and an open editing or export page also checks its active record. It cannot delete stored data while the site is closed. The last-viewed-tile preference may remain after expiry; it is ignored when its export no longer exists.

Private browsing, storage limits, browser cleanup or clearing site data may remove your work sooner. If saving fails, keep the tab open and download any videos you need. Closing or reloading the tab can lose unsaved work.

Only the current editing draft and latest successful export are kept. Replacing an export successfully resets its local confirmations; a cancelled or failed generation keeps the previous export. Restoring missing videos from the same export keeps its confirmations and original expiry; it does not start another 7-day period.

What you choose to share

Download MP4 asks your browser to save one video. Once downloaded, that copy is managed by your browser or device, outside this maker’s local project.

Share video, when supported, passes one MP4 to your operating system’s share menu. The app you choose may receive and process that video under its own policies. The maker does not attach your original photo, other tile videos or a link to your local project.

Posting a video or creating a public sticker in TikTok happens in TikTok, under its policies and your account settings. A successful share handoff does not tell this site whether anything was posted.

Photo-credit links take you to another website only when you open them. Those sites have their own data practices.

Site requests & analytics

Your browser requests the site’s pages, scripts, local fonts and example images to display the maker. “Local photo processing” describes how your media is handled; it does not mean that loading a website makes no network requests. A hosting service may process connection information such as your IP address when serving those files.

This development version includes no external analytics, advertising or account-tracking service. The maker does not send product events, photo contents, original filenames, local image fingerprints or your TikTok account details to an analytics service. It does not use cookies for accounts or tracking.

An internal local event debug page can record product actions after you enable automatic recording. It is off by default. Selecting “Save issue locally” explicitly saves a category record even when automatic recording is off. Nothing is sent to a support team or external service.

These records contain random task and attempt identifiers, material versions, layout counts, broad browser categories, fixed issue/error categories and page paths without queries or fragments. There is no free-text feedback field, photo, video, image fingerprint, filename, TikTok username or raw error message in the journal. Up to 500 events are kept for 7 days; storage failure can limit them to this tab. The recording preference stays until you change it or clear site data.

Local event and issue records are separate from your editing project. Use Clear local event log to remove them, and pause automatic recording to stop subsequent automatic entries. Clearing the project below does not clear this journal. An external analytics service, if introduced later, will require an updated description of its actual behavior.

Clear your local project

You can remove the editing draft, latest exported videos and their source snapshot, your confirmations, the saved tile selection and this browser’s layout hint together. The action below applies only to this site in this browser.

It does not delete your original device photo, downloaded copies, anything in TikTok or data in another browser. The separate developer media lab is not part of this project; use your browser’s site-data controls if you also want to remove developer test data and cached site files.

Checking this browser’s local storage…

Clear this local project?

This removes the saved photo and crop, latest video files, posting and sticker confirmations, final check and viewing preferences from this browser. Unsaved exported work in this tab is also discarded. This cannot be undone here.

Your original device photo, downloads, TikTok posts and separate developer lab data are kept. Other open tabs may still hold copies in memory; close them if you want to discard those copies too.

You can also clear the editing draft or export separately from their own pages. Browser settings provide another way to remove this site’s stored data.

Updates & contact

This page describes the current development version and will change when the maker’s data handling changes. The update date appears at the top.

A public contact channel is not available during development. See the contact section for the current status.
